This is where I started and wouldn’t mind finishing in
an elegant, classic wooden row boat. I still own a
rowing/sailing 16 foot, tombstone transom wooden dory
with a removable single sliding seat (or can have tow
rowing stations). I also still own my first fibreglass
kayak that I learned to do the Eskimo roll in the
chilly Kenai River of South Central Alaska. Like
sailing I have a fond interest and love for these
smaller versatile craft, for what they can do and
where they can take you.
